Therefore with the inspiration from the above message by His Excellence the president of the Republic of Uganda, we as the pioneers came up with the vision of opening up Patriotic Movement not only looking at students but the entire population including the old, young, widows, widowers, poor, rich, peasants etc. Beginning from the Eastern Region as we go across the whole nation. Hence we stand to operate basing on the above motivation by the president and other motivation as stated in the preamble. Thanks

THE PREAMBLE / OVERVIEW
As at Feb – March 2009 under the umbrella of Teachers’ National Patriotism Workshop, His Excellence the president of the republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, initiated patriotic clubs in schools. With this great motivation, as aware that by the virtue of position we occupy as responsible citizen in our nation Uganda, we the patriotic youth assembled in Jinja Senior Secondary School came up with a grand vision of going beyond the boundaries of our School to extend patriotism as far as Eastern Region.
Convinced that the interest and love as youth, His Excellence and interest of the nation as a whole are complimentary and fully advantageous to us,  nothing should divide us in society since we are as one as citizens of Uganda and all created in one’s maker’s image (God).
Committed to promote love, peace, fighting corruption, protecting our motherland, careering for our nature, discovering and promoting talents of the youths whether he/she is conscious of our moral obligations to give our solidarity and soliciting support to all those who are fighting for freedom and peace wherever they may be in this nation Uganda.
Whatever is stated and written was agreed upon by all members of Patriotic Movement and vow to play a heading and progressive role in spreading Patriotism in our country Uganda which we love dearly and wholeheartedly.

If others can, why not me?

1) REASONS FOR MY PIONEER SHIP.

The deeper passion and strong conviction that I developed for the welfare of mankind [citizens of Uganda] and the country at large, I had to join Patriotic Movement after having been bothered with the questions;

a) Why are some people happy while others are unhappy?

b) Why do some people don’t care when others are suffering?

c) Why do 10% of the Ugandan population owning 90% of the Ugandan resources and 90% of the Ugandan population owning 10% of the Ugandan resources?

To my surprise after carrying out extensive research on the issues raised above, and talking to a number of successful people in different discipline of life, I realized that anyone can be anything because we are all created in one maker’s image and one’s destiny lies in one’s hand and the reason why the mouse trap will always keep in use is because the mice refuse to learn from the demise of those that are trapped before them.

It's great to start

(Reasons for my pioneering)

There are very many ambitions that encouraged me. The love that I have for the nation Uganda, I want to spread and influence other people to love the nation, the result of loving very many morals will be covered and every body in the nation will be focused to develop and promote Uganda in various activities making it to shine like he sun of day time and the moon night time.

Loving a nation with one heart will create happiness and peace in the country. Love that someone has, will lead to good relationship between people of different tribe and culture hence peace and stability in the nation.

Due to the empowers a member of Patriotic club of Jinja S.S.S, to start to begin is difficult as the result of the wide spread of patriotism in this whole nation, it aspired me to join Patriotic Movement because of the proposal of the patron of Patriotism Club in Uganda.
